Brockley Cricket Club Golf Day
Saturday 3rd April 2010

Email Simon at simon.byford@btinternet.com to confirm entry.

The highly successful Brockley Cricket Club Team Golf Day will return on Saturday 3rd April 2010. It is open to all players, families, friends, acquaintances and interested parties. The only requirement of golfing ability is that you can procure a set of clubs for use on the day. The day is all about raising money for the club, but also having a jolly good time. Last year we raised in excess of £600 and I would like to beat that this year.

The main format for the golf will be a team stableford competition, with the winner receiving the highly coveted BCC Golf Day Trophy (providing Mr Bugg has engraved it and remembers to bring it along on the day!!) Teams will consist of four players, and it is highly recommended that each team consists of one Brockley Cricket Club associate, and three guests of their choosing. In this way we will maximise the number of teams, and also the amount of revenue for the club.

There will be one change to the programme from last year if there is any interest. In order to encourage non-golfers within the Cricket Club, there will be a two hour novice coaching and skills clinic run alongside the main competition. The only requirement for this is the individual themselves. It is a perfect opportunity for those who have not previously participated in golf to come along and try it out, and then join in the inevitable banter and joy of the rest of the day. The clinic is limited to numbers so apply now to avoid disappointment.

Cost for the day will be the same as last year, £140 per team (£35 per head) to include:

· Coffee/Tea & Bacon Roll on arrival

· 18 holes of Golf

· Two Course Meal & Coffee

· Prizes for teams & individuals (ie longest drive, nearest the pin)

The coaching clinic will be £25 to include all of the above with the coaching in place of the 18 holes of golf. To confirm your entry, apply to the coaching clinic or to raise any questions, please email me: simon.byford@btinternet.com
